Superwell, a superfood startup with plans for a West L.A. storefront and a product line spanning coffee, ice cream, and bone broth, approached Funkhaus to create a brand that felt both buzzy and accessible. The challenge was to strike a balance: approachable enough for everyday health-curious consumers, yet polished enough to appeal to a celebrity-driven market.
With the logo, palette, and typography already in place, I guided the visual direction and applied it across storefront concepts, out of home campaigns, packaging, and digital mockups. While the pastel palette set a soft, inviting tone, I elevated it with bold black logo applications, ample white space, and bright, personable visuals. The result was a look that felt clean and premium without losing its warmth.
Deliverables ranged from a brand standards overview and website mockups to storefront designs, billboards, posters, branded merchandise, and in-store items like menus and takeaway bags. Though the brand has yet to launch, the proof-of-concept designs were met with enthusiasm, capturing how Superwell could stand out in a crowded wellness market with a distinct identity that’s both vibrant and refined.
